Mal is a well traveled angler and one of the veteran guides at Black Canyon Anglers. Besides guiding on the Gunnison River, he also works on the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan Rivers outside of Basalt, Colorado. Mal is fluent in Spanish and has used this skill for several season while guiding in Patagonia, Chile.
